Job Description:

Join us for a thrilling adventure as a labor and delivery healthcare traveler at our Family Birthing Center in Folsom, California! Here, you will play an essential role in welcoming new life into the world, with opportunities for 35 weeks and above, twin deliveries, and support for preterm patients requiring transfer. With a regular flow of 70-80 births per month, every shift presents the excitement of new beginnings. Do you have what it takes to “catch the baby”? You’ll need to be comfortable with NRP at delivery and come equipped with at least one year of LDRP experience—three years preferred for optimal success in this role.

As a key member of our team, you'll work in a setting that includes 7 LDRP beds and 4-8 overflow postpartum beds, along with an OR suite for C-sections. You will collaborate closely with a supportive crew including a charge nurse or nurse shift manager, while managing titratable drips and ensuring adherence to AWHONN guidelines for labor ratios. Expect a meaningful experience, working under the watchful eye of OB specialists and alongside a respiratory therapist during deliveries to provide optimal care for both mothers and newborns.
