Job Description:

Join us in the heart of Alexandria, Virginia, where you’ll be taking on the vibrant role of a PCU Float Pool RN. In this exciting travel healthcare contract, you’ll be flexing your skills across all PCU and Tele Units within Inova Alexandria Hospital. Get ready to dive into diverse patient experiences as you float among various units, adapting on-the-fly just like a seasoned traveler adjusting their itinerary.

Your expertise in neuro assessments and basic cardiac drips will be essential as you encounter a range of patients with diagnoses such as strokes, chest pain, and respiratory failures. Utilizing your EPIC experience, you'll ensure smooth transitions across units, helping to provide crucial care in a fast-paced environment. With a 1:4 to 1:5 ratio in the PCU and Med/Surg areas, you’ll have the ability to demonstrate your proficiency while attending to the specific needs of each patient.

Whether you’re managing drips or interpreting ECGs, your commitment to quality nursing practice will shine through each shift. The unique nature of this assignment offers you the flexibility you need while working alongside a dedicated team eager to support and collaborate for exceptional patient outcomes.
