Job Description:

Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse in Rochester, New York, where your expertise will shine in an Intermediate Care Unit dedicated to patients requiring specialized care. As a traveler, you'll receive adult acute care patients, many transitioning from various care areas, ensuring they receive the high-level support they need. You'll manage a diverse patient load, typically caring for 1 to 7 patients at a time, ensuring each individual receives personalized attention in a fast-paced environment.

Your role will include critical responsibilities, from cardiac monitoring and emergency response to IV therapy and respiratory management. With your BLS certification and EPIC experience, you'll navigate the intricacies of patient monitoring and intervention quickly and efficiently. If you enjoy taking action and making a direct impact, this position will keep you on your toes, providing moments of quick thinking and urgent care when it matters most.

Your shifts will run 12 hours overnight, providing a unique rhythm to your work week, while you embrace opportunities for weekends filled with exciting adventures in your downtime.
