Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, where you'll navigate the thrilling world of patient care like a seasoned traveler in uncharted territory! This role offers you the chance to provide critical care to patients experiencing heart conditions, respiratory failure, and more, all within a cozy facility that boasts an average census of 25-30 patients. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, overseeing a manageable nurse-to-patient ratio that allows for quality interactions and meaningful care.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and possess an RN license (Compact Accepted) along with essential certifications like BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, and NIH Stroke Scale. In this role, you will engage in a variety of advanced procedures, including IV insertion and chest tube placement, ensuring patients receive the utmost care in their critical moments. You'll be a key player in the team, required to adapt to shifts in patient needs and even float to areas like the ED when necessary!
