Job Description:

Join our dedicated team as an ICU Registered Nurse in the heart of Oxford, North Carolina! This role invites you to immerse yourself in a critical care environment that blends challenge with fulfillment. You will take on the responsibility of monitoring and supporting a diverse patient population, focusing on general surgery, orthopedics, and complex medical conditions like CHF and diabetes. Your shifts will be a thrilling 3x12-hour nights, providing you the opportunity to experience the unique rhythm of night-time healthcare.

Our unit operates under a self-scheduling model, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance. While every other weekend is required, the shift structure is designed to empower your autonomy in managing your time. You'll collaborate closely with a team of nursing assistants and a unit secretary, ensuring a supportive atmosphere where patient care and teamwork shine.

Those with prior travel experience will feel at home here, and for those new to travel nursing, fear not! Orientation is streamlined across three shifts to help you acclimate quickly. While travelers are occasionally floated to other units, our goal is to ensure you flourish in the ICU setting.
