Job Description:

Step right up for a unique opportunity as a Critical Care Float Registered Nurse in Kalamazoo, Michigan! In this role, you will be the skilled juggler of patient care, adeptly floating between various medical-surgical and critical care units. Your expertise will be crucial as you manage patient ratios of 4-6:1 in Med-Surg and 2-3:1 in ICU settings, ensuring top-notch care across diverse patient needs.

This is a 12-hour day shift position, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. You'll be welcomed into a fast-paced environment where adaptability is key, as you’ll be filling in where your skills are needed the most—be it on the Med-Surg units or the Critical Care side. Your work will not only involve implementing advanced care protocols but also engaging with your peers in a collaborative spirit. Remember, flexibility is at the heart of this role, and you’ll need to be available during the first two weeks for orientation.

So, if you have a robust background in nursing, a minimum of one year of experience, and hold certifications like ACLS and BCLS from the American Heart Association, this could be your next big adventure!
