Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for an engaging contract opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts. This unique role in an inpatient setting offers the chance to immerse yourself in critical care, specifically within a Level 1 trauma facility. You'll thrive on 12-hour night shifts, working 36 hours a week, as you support a dynamic range of patient needs. Ideal candidates will bring over five years of recent experience in both the Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Units, showcasing expertise in lung protective ventilation and ventilator management. You'll actively participate in the Code Blue team, making critical ventilator decisions based on thorough patient assessments and laboratory results. A touch of playfulness is essential—after all, keeping a cool head and a clear mind during emergencies can be a juggling act! Your qualifications should include RRT certification and a valid Massachusetts Respiratory Care license, with additional certifications like NPS or ACCS preferred.
