Job Description:
Join our team as an IMC Registered Nurse, where your expertise will be essential in an invigorating float position. As you navigate the vibrant world of healthcare, you will provide care in an intermediate care unit, specifically catering to pulmonary, cardiac, and trauma patients. You'll experience varied challenges, as your floating duties will take you to both telemetry units—caring for patients with cardiac complications—and medical/surgical overflow. Expect to manage cardiac drips and titrate medications, while also engaging in pre/post cardiac catheterization protocols.
This role requires an active VA or Compact License, with ACLS and BLS certifications essential to embark on this journey. The setting is dynamic and focused on high-need patients, providing you the opportunity to collaborate with rapid response teams while honing your skills in managing complex cardiac conditions. Your ability to float across departments will not only enhance your clinical expertise but also allow you to uniquely impact a wide range of patients in need.
