Job Description:

Embark on an exciting journey as a Travel Med-Surg Nurse in Pittsfield, Massachusetts! This unique role requires skilled professionals with a minimum of two years of current medical-surgical experience and the ability to adapt, as travelers must be willing to float to any Med-Surg unit. You will encounter a variety of patients and circumstances that will put your clinical skills to the test in a fast-paced environment. Your experience with telemetry is essential, allowing you to monitor patients effectively while ensuring their comfort and safety.

This position involves working 12-hour night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks, requiring your dedication and flexibility during the holiday season. Travel nurses are necessary to cover critical shifts during Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day, so a sense of adventure and teamwork will be key in this role. You'll need to have your BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS certifications on hand, along with your own vehicle for commuting.
