Job Description:

Join our team as a dedicated healthcare professional in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where you will be making a tangible difference during your travel assignment. This role is designed for those specializing in Orthopedic and Observation nursing, tasked with providing care for diverse patients with conditions such as COPD, falls, and post-operative management from various surgeries. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6, engaging in life-saving interventions and utilizing your skills in tele-interpretation.

You'll be working 12-hour night shifts in a friendly and supportive setting, ensuring that our patients receive the utmost attention during their recovery periods. Your expertise will be honed further through hands-on experience managing heparin drips and overseeing patients who have undergone laparoscopic cholecystectomy or appendectomy procedures. This position lasts for 13 weeks but may extend, providing an ideal opportunity to immerse yourself fully in the local healthcare landscape while enjoying the unique experiences that come with traveling.
