Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Respiratory Care Specialist in the vibrant city of Urbana, Illinois. In this unique travel healthcare contract, you'll engage in vital responsibilities including the disassembly, thorough cleaning, and meticulous maintenance of respiratory equipment. You'll not only ensure that all machinery is functioning optimally but also evaluate and implement patient respiratory care based on established care plans.

Your role involves assessing patients both in the inpatient setting and Emergency Room, analyzing critical blood gas results, and providing timely recommendations for further treatment when necessary. As a role model in Respiratory Care, you'll showcase your technical skills and clinical judgment, all while contributing to a collaborative environment. You'll also take charge of accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR), ensuring adherence to protocols regarding ventilator care and sleep therapy.

This position is perfect for someone with an RRT certification, NBRC credentials, and experience in a Trauma 1 setting. Embrace the night shift lifestyle with hours spanning from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, and be ready to make a meaningful impact!
