Job Description:

Join a dedicated Cardio Thoracic unit in Peoria, Illinois, where you’ll be stepping into a role that combines skilled nursing with a touch of adventure. This 13-week contract on night shifts involves caring for patients with conditions like MI, CHF, A fib, COPD, and those recovering from lung surgeries such as esophagectomy. You'll interpret EKGs, titrate medications like Cardizem and heparin, and handle chest tubes, all in a setting where your expertise directly impacts recovery. Expect to work alongside a team of experienced nurses, charge nurses, and techs, in a unit that values your hands-on skills and critical thinking.
