Job Description:

This 13-week contract places you in the fast-paced intensive care unit of a busy hospital in Redding, California. As an experienced Critical Care RN, you'll take on challenging cases involving trauma, neuro-strokes, head injuries, ventriculostomies, and ICP monitoring. Your expertise with ventrics and ICP management will be vital as you work 12-hour day shifts in a unit that values skilled, confident practitioners. Expect to perform a proctored Dysrhythmia Test on your first day—good heart rhythm knows no clock! You’ll be interpreting GE monitors with the support of a dedicated Unit Secretary and working alongside a 24/7 Intensivist and hospitalist team. Strong skills in titrating vasopressors and sedation are essential. The team pays attention to detail, and your ability to ask questions and collaborate in a vibrant setting will make this assignment rewarding.
