Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join a hospital laboratory team on a 13-week travel contract in McDowell, KY. This role involves performing laboratory tests, potentially including phlebotomy, and working primarily during night shifts with a rotating schedule of 12 hours. The ideal candidate will bring over two years of recent MLT experience, hold current AHA BLS and ASCP or AMT certification, and be comfortable floating within their scope of practice. Flexibility to work some weekends and handle fluctuating ratios due to census changes is essential. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to patient diagnostics in a busy hospital setting, all while enjoying the rhythms of a night shift routine.
