Job Description:

This 13-week travel healthcare assignment is in a lively hospital setting that combines adult and pediatric behavioral health units. As a registered nurse, you'll be working 12-hour day shifts on a schedule that includes every other weekend. Your role involves managing the care of up to seven behavioral health patients with diagnoses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression. You'll need strong de-escalation skills and the ability to handle admissions, discharges, and routine patient monitoring, including RN rounding every two hours. This position offers a unique opportunity to experience a diverse patient population while utilizing your skills in a supportive environment that values kindness and effective communication.
