Job Description:

This 13-week travel nursing assignment on Omaha's fourth-floor Neuro Med Surg unit offers a hands-on experience with a diverse patient population, including stroke, post-neurosurgery, and general med/surg diagnoses. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6, with the opportunity to coordinate care, titrate drips like Heparin and Ketamine, and interpret telemetry strips with support from TeleTechs. This role emphasizes quick thinking, team collaboration, and responsiveness, especially during high patient turnover days where efficiency and compassion truly make a difference. The facility values your readiness to adapt, work with removable artificial nails, and coordinate with float teams as needed. Pass a skills exam on orientation day, and bring your clinical expertise for a rewarding, fast-paced environment that prioritizes patient safety and teamwork.
