Job Description:

Join our pediatric critical care float pool as a Registered Nurse in the vibrant community of Mission Viejo, California. This 13-week contract offers an engaging night shift schedule, working 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with a focus on pediatric ICU, NICU, and general pediatric units. You'll bring your five years of pediatric, NICU, or PICU experience to support a diverse range of young patients—ranging from preterm infants as early as 22 weeks to adolescents. This is a dynamic role that provides an opportunity to work in a mixed-care environment, where you'll float among units, providing specialized care for critically ill children and helping families navigate challenging times. Expect a lively setting where each night may involve supporting respiratory distress, hyperbilirubinemia, or feeding difficulties, with an emphasis on quiet developmental support for neonatal patients. The position uses Epic EMR, with certifications in BLS, NRP, and PALS required, and a maximum of 5 days of RTO during the contract.
