Job Description:

Join us for a rewarding 13-week travel contract specializing in labor and delivery nursing at Maria Parham, located in Henderson, North Carolina. This assignment offers the opportunity to work with a 16-bed unit that adheres to AWHONN guidelines, providing routine but vital care for mothers and newborns in a well-equipped environment featuring advanced NICU capabilities and fetal monitoring. Expect to support expectant families through all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum care, engaging in a role that combines clinical expertise with the rewarding experience of nurturing new life in a vibrant community setting. This role is perfect for skilled RNs with at least two years of labor and delivery experience who are ready to take on a new adventure and make a tangible difference in patients’ lives.

This role involves providing expert labor and delivery nursing care, supporting patients through their birth journeys in a compassionate and professional manner. The schedule includes approximately 5-6 weekend shifts within the six-week rotation, with no scheduled call but a flexible approach depending on unit census. Certifications required are NRP, BLS, and intermediate Fetal Monitoring. Prior NICU or couplet care experience and a minimum of two years in labor and delivery are essential to thrive in this setting. Expect to collaborate with a dedicated team under the supervision of Sheena Hall, utilizing GE Centricity/Paragon EHR systems while maintaining adherence to safety and patient care standards.
