Job Description:

This ICU RN role in Kearney, Nebraska offers a chance to work in a 33-bed unit with an array of complex cases like trauma, cardiac issues, and sepsis. You'll be managing a patient load with ratios of 1:2-3, titrating drips such as cardiac medications, insulin, and sedation, all while collaborating with skilled techs and aides. The shift is 12-hour days, with self-scheduling allowed for core staff, providing a level of flexibility. Expect to troubleshoot ventilator equipment, interpret strips, and provide critical support in a fast-paced ICU setting. The contract spans 13 weeks, with a weekly gross pay of approximately $2,076.33, and an hourly commitment of 36 hours per week.
