Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a 24-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a Level 3 trauma center in Exeter, NH. You will be primarily responsible for managing patients with complex medical needs—including respiratory failures, infections, CHF, and arrhythmias—while utilizing advanced equipment such as high flow oxygen devices, BiPAP machines, and central line care. Your shifts will be 12 hours overnight, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend, providing a balance of professional challenge and personal time. The role demands at least 2 years of experience, NH or compact licensure, and a strong familiarity with respiratory and cardiovascular equipment. This assignment emphasizes hands-on technical skills, patient assessment, and the ability to perform bedside procedures like chest tube management and central line placement.
