Job Description:

Join the team as a Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist at a reputable hospital in Painesville, Ohio. This role involves working in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery, providing specialized respiratory support to neonatal patients. Your day-to-day duties will include administering medicated aerosol therapy, managing small volume nebulizers, and educating families on aerosol, MDI, and DPI therapies. You'll assist with manual ventilation, intubation, and high-risk deliveries involving surfactant administration, following NRP protocols. The hospital’s setup involves bar-coded medication administration with Omnicell systems, blood gas sampling and interpretation, and managing humidified oxygen therapy via nasal cannulas, oxygen masks, and heated humidity systems.
