Job Description:

This NICU Registered Nurse role in Greenville offers an engaging opportunity to work with critically ill newborns, including those as early as 22 weeks gestation. You'll be providing specialized care during 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with options to choose between a four-shift schedule without call or a three-shift schedule that includes bi-weekly call responsibilities. You will be responsible for managing complex cases such as infants requiring full body cooling, chest tube management, and surgical repairs, often utilizing advanced equipment like Artic Sun blankets and ventilators. The unit employs EPIC for documentation, requiring at least one year of experience with this system. This role involves float responsibilities to other NICU units or facilities as needed, ensuring a versatile and hands-on experience in neonatal intensive care.
