Job Description:

Join a PT Acute Care Hospital team in Mount Vernon, Illinois, for a 13-week travel assignment that offers an engaging mix of outpatient physical therapy with occasional support in acute care and inpatient rehab. You’ll work primarily during weekday hours, with shiftsMonday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This role is perfect for a licensed physical therapist with at least one year of acute care experience and familiarity with Epic, BLS, and state licensing requirements. Be prepared for a weekend on-call rotation approximately every seven weeks, and some holiday coverage, including Christmas. The setting emphasizes outpatient therapy but provides opportunities to assist in acute and inpatient rehab settings, offering diverse clinical experiences. The role includes a strict mask seal requirement for fit testing, with no exceptions for personal PAPRs or CAPRs. Experience in rehabilitation hospital work and comfort with occasional acute care duties will help you succeed in this position.
