Job Description:

Join our team at the main campus of a respected hospital in Asheville for a 13-week contract on a step-down/telemetry unit. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, supporting patients with diverse diagnoses in a fast-paced environment dedicated to ED decompression and efficient patient throughput. This role involves completing admission assessments, medication reconciliation, and initiating acute care orders—no bedside procedures are routine. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential, especially with floating to different units within your skill set. Prior charge nurse experience is a bonus, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your skills in a well-supported setting that values patient safety and professional growth.
