Job Description:

This contract opportunity is for an MS/Tele Registered Nurse to provide overnight coverage on a 30-bed cardiac specialty unit. The nightly shift runs from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, and the role involves managing a team of six patients, with responsibilities including administering diuretics, anticoagulants, inotropes, and rate control medications. The unit uses EPIC documentation, and experience with this system is preferred. The assignment offers a chance to work in a dedicated cardiac setting, with the chance to cross post from another unit if needed. The position requires BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, and while float requirements are present, traveling nurses should be prepared to adapt to unit needs. This role is ideal for experienced nurses seeking a steady, nightshift contract that challenges their skills and offers engaging work in a specialized setting.
