Job Description:

Join a welcoming healthcare team in Hilo, Hawaii, as a Progressive Care RN for a 13-week contract. You'll be working in a 15-bed unit that includes a 3-step down ICU and telemetry beds, delivering focused patient monitoring and primary nursing care. The role involves managing telemetry strips, blood sugar fingersticks, and utilizing equipment such as Meditech charting, Pyxis, BIPAP, and continuous cardiac monitoring. Expect to float across various acute units including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER, providing versatile support. The scheduled hours are 36 per week, following orientation, with no guaranteed hours or call duties, offering a steady rhythm to your workweek. This assignment is perfect for a nurse with recent hospital acute care experience who enjoys a variety of patient cases and the dynamic pace of acute care settings.
