Job Description:

This critical care RN role places you in a bustling ICU setting with five specialized beds. Expect to manage a variety of complex cases, including stroke, STEMI, and non-STEMI, while working in rotating 12-hour shifts. Your responsibilities will include administering medications such as Cardizem, Insulin, Propofol, Versed, and Vasopressors, monitoring ventilators, and collaborating with hospitalists and intensivists. The unit functions with a nurse-to-patient ratio of two to one, ensuring a focused approach to patient care. Prepare for a schedule that includes every other weekend and seven major holidays, with a chance to experience the fast-paced rhythm of critical care nursing in a supportive environment. The role emphasizes hands-on experience with advanced technology and a team committed to delivering expert care, all while maintaining a professional, approachable atmosphere.
