Job Description:

This is a float RN position specializing in medical-surgical and telemetry units, with holiday coverage required. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with the flexibility to float across various units within Nebraska Medical Center and potentially Bellevue Medical Center. Expect to handle a mix of acute patient needs, including postsurgical recovery, neuro cases, and cardiac monitoring, all while ensuring efficient patient flow and safety during your shifts. The assignment promises a unique experience in a teaching hospital setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including care techs and transport staff. RNs with experience in large, urban hospitals, familiar with EPIC charting, and certified in BLS (ACLS preferred) are ideal candidates. You may be assigned to different units such as MS/Tele, Neurology, Trauma, or Oncology, based on your expertise and hospital needs.
