Job Description:

This 13-week contract invites experienced RNs to join a dedicated team on the 4th Floor East Wing of a hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. You will be working 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, providing care to adult and pediatric patients with conditions such as strokes, respiratory issues, and COVID-19. Your responsibilities include managing telemetry and IV pump therapies, ensuring hourly rounding, and supporting a cohesive team that values quick responsiveness and effective communication. This unit is known for a close-knit environment where managing the flow of the day is key, and staff often float to other medical-surgical areas based on patient needs. Expect a mix of challenging and rewarding moments while making a tangible impact in patient recovery and care. The hospital emphasizes adherence to policies including no artificial nails and proper certifications, with a focus on maintaining safety and compliance throughout your shift.
