Job Description:

Join an esteemed acute hospital in Anchorage as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role offers a unique chance to work in a Magnet-designated facility with Level II Trauma designation, providing exposure to advanced surgical procedures. You will be responsible for supporting perioperative activities, preparing ORs, assisting surgical teams, and ensuring smooth procedures during 4x10 hour shifts, either from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The position requires at least 2 years of OR nursing experience, and candidates must hold an Alaska RN license in hand for immediate consideration. Certification requirements include BLS, with ACLS and CNOR preferred. Expect to be on call for coverage of call-offs, with guaranteed hours of 60 per two weeks, and a weekly commitment of 40 hours. This assignment provides an engaging environment to hone your OR skills amid beautiful Alaskan surroundings.
