Job Description:

This outpatient oncology nursing role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a team of seven medical oncologists in Rapid City, South Dakota. As a registered nurse specializing in hematology and medical oncology, you will provide direct support to patients, including rooming, medication reconciliation, and assisting with procedures like port access and blood draws. You'll work primarily with adult patients, managing approximately 15-25 visits per day, and use Epic Ambulatory for documentation. The shift consists of four 10-hour days, providing a solid routine without weekend or major holiday work. This assignment challenges you to apply your experience in a fast-paced outpatient clinic while enjoying a manageable schedule and a welcoming team environment. The position emphasizes clinical skills such as EPIC proficiency, patient support, and collaboration with physicians and support staff, making it a rewarding and engaging contract for seasoned oncology nurses.
