Job Description:

Join a Pediatric PeriAnesthesia Unit as a Pediatric PACU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, VA. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend and holiday, providing specialized postoperative care to pediatric patients recovering from surgery. This role involves caring for children in a 10-bed unit, with an additional Pediatric Surgical Observation Unit for extended recovery periods. Expect a workload that keeps you engaged while allowing ample opportunities to learn and grow in pediatric perioperative nursing. The position includes a 36-hour weekly commitment, with the possibility to approve 40 hours for time off. ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required, and VA license submission is accepted under the 50-mile radius rule.
