Job Description:

Join a busy Emergency Department within a Level III Trauma Center that features 11 private beds and trauma bays, including critical care rooms and a Behavioral Health Safe Room. As an experienced ED nurse with at least four years of trauma center background, you'll handle a 1:4 patient ratio, providing care in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on trauma and urgent care cases. Your role involves managing patients within the Epic electronic medical record system, coordinating with EMT-trained unit assistants, and adapting to rotating 12-hour shifts starting at 0700, 1100, or 1900 hours. Expect some weekend and holiday work, with scheduling attempts made to accommodate your preferences. This assignment offers a dynamic mix of patient scenarios and a chance to apply your trauma experience in a supportive setting.
