Job Description:

This opportunity is tailored for experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurses (RN) specializing in complex post-op care within a Level I Trauma Center. You'll be working on the ENT and Plastic Surgery units, managing patients with tracheostomies, total laryngectomies, free flap monitoring, drain care, and wound management. The role involves monitoring patients post-operatively, ensuring proper tube feeding, IV access, and central line management, often with telemetry monitoring. Expect to float within scope to meet facility needs, with guaranteed hours covering three shifts every 13 weeks. The assignment offers a chance to work in a hospital renowned for teaching and magnet designation, in a setting where your expertise will be essential in providing high-level acute care. This role is perfect for nurses with at least 1-2 years of experience, including those with Level I or teaching hospital backgrounds, looking to immerse themselves in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
