Job Description:

Seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join a vibrant team for a 13-week assignment. This role involves working 8-hour day and evening shifts with rotating start times between 6:30 am and 10:30 am. The nurse will perform moderate sedation in various GI and pulmonary procedures, including ERCP, EUS, EGD, and colonoscopies, as well as bronchoscopy cases. You will manage pre- and post-procedure recovery across all levels, including PACU/Phase I and Phase II, utilizing an RN-driven assessment approach to sedation management within targeted Ramsay Sedation Scale ranges. Experience with recovering sedated patients in a high-volume hospital setting, particularly in a Level 1 trauma center or similar, is essential. Epic system familiarity and passing a telemetry test are required before starting. This assignment provides a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to refine sedation and recovery skills in a supportive team.
