Job Description:

Join a dedicated team at North Alabama Medical Center as an RN in the Labor and Delivery unit for a 13-week contract. Your role involves providing postpartum care, fetal monitoring, and managing labor and delivery processes during 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.). This assignment offers a chance to work with experienced staff in a small, 9-bed unit, ensuring personalized patient attention. Expect to work a guaranteed 36 hours per week with options for a 48-hour guarantee. The environment requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and adaptability as you support adult patients through various pregnancy-related conditions, from normal labors to complicated cases. Weekly orientation begins shortly after acceptance, allowing you to integrate smoothly into the team and hospital systems.
