Job Description:

Join a behavioral health unit as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract, working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, Friday through Sunday. This role offers an opportunity to engage directly with adult and geriatric patients experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and trauma-related illnesses. You will be responsible for managing crisis situations, implementing behavioral interventions, administering medications, and utilizing specialized tools like ObservSmart for patient monitoring. The work involves a blend of clinical tasks and patient behavior management in a split-floor environment, with rotation across two levels and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. This assignment is unique for its focus on behavioral health with a weekend-only schedule, providing a focused but impactful experience.
