Job Description:

Join our team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in Aurora, Colorado, and experience the fast-paced environment of a Level 1 Trauma Center. This contract offers 12-hour day shifts starting at 6:45 AM, with occasional float to evening or night shifts, providing variety and opportunity to showcase your adaptability. You'll be responsible for supporting a busy OR unit across 41 operating rooms, handling cases like general, GU/GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastic surgeries. This assignment emphasizes independent work, with a minimum of a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and a requirement of at least three years of OR experience, including trauma cases. Epic system proficiency and current AHA BLS certification are necessary. Flexibility to float within scope to other UCH ORs is included, making this a diverse and engaging role for seasoned professionals seeking a new challenge in a well-respected trauma center.
