Job Description:

This travel RN role in Medical-Surgical units offers a chance to work with a diverse patient population, ranging from chronic illnesses like COPD, Diabetes, and CHF, to GI issues such as pancreatitis and bleeding. You'll manage patients undergoing procedures like colonoscopies, thoracentesis, and minor surgeries, providing comprehensive assessments, care planning, and inter-professional communication. The position involves hands-on use of equipment like IV pumps, wound vacs, telemetry monitors, and managing IV therapies, including heparin and insulin drips. The setting calls for flexible, skilled nurses who can adapt to floating between general medical units, all while contributing to patient recovery and comfort. This assignment combines professional challenge with the chance to develop a broad skill set in a hospital treating a wide array of conditions—all within a supportive team environment.
