Job Description:

Join a step-down unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, where you will focus on providing advanced care for patients recovering from acute conditions. This contract offers the opportunity to float across units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department, offering diverse clinical experiences. The shift is a 12-hour rotating schedule, primarily 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm, with the possibility of rotation based on operational needs. You will be responsible for monitoring patient progress, recognizing ECG rhythms, and ensuring safe medication practices during your shift. Prior experience in a similar role is required, including at least 18 months of perm experience in your specialty and recent travel experience in step-down environments. Ohio or Compact State license, along with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, are mandatory. Orientation will include ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments, with satisfactory scores required. This assignment provides an engaging opportunity to hone your skills and work with a dedicated healthcare team.
