Job Description:

Join our team for a travel healthcare contract in the CVOR unit at LewisGale Medical Center, located on the 2nd floor of the main building in Salem, VA. You'll be working in a specialized surgical environment with two OR suites, providing critical procedures like CABG, thoracotomy, endo AAA, valve replacement, and pacemaker placements. The role requires ACLS and BLS certifications and CVOR experience, with scrub experience considered a bonus. Expect a shift of 10 hours daily, five days a week, with a total duration of 13 weeks, and a weekly gross earning of approximately $2,215.60. This assignment offers an opportunity to be part of an experienced team, working in a fast-paced setting that keeps you engaged and professionally challenged. The unit is equipped with Meditech EMR, and all staff work day shifts, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio. Be prepared for potential floating to other OR areas and to participate in weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotations, all while wearing light blue scrubs provided on site.
