Job Description:

Join a pediatric cardiac intensive care unit as a traveling RN, where you'll be immersed in the post-operative recovery of young cardiac patients. This role calls for strong critical thinking skills and ICU experience, with a focus on immediate cardiac post-surgical patient care. You'll manage inotropic medications, mediastinal chest tubes, central and arterial lines, and navigate neonatal care alongside advanced airway management and ventilator use. Family-centered care is a key part of the job, and familiarity with the EPIC EMR system is preferred. This assignment offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week duration, providing a rewarding experience caring for children during their critical recovery period.
