Job Description:
Join a high-intensity Labor and Delivery unit as a Registered Nurse, where you'll be at the heart of childbirth chaos—well, in a good way. This fast-paced unit handles over 300 births per month, offering a unique chance for experienced nurses to thrive amidst the pulse of high-volume obstetric care. You'll circulate, perform sterile vaginal exams, and deliver immediate newborn care, all while navigating double labor assignments and a busy schedule. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts, with the potential for 36 or 48 hours per week, on a unit that keeps you engaged from start to finish. Be prepared for a challenging but rewarding environment that values versatility, as float requirements are part of the job. If you've got at least 2 years (preferably 3) of labor and delivery experience and hold certifications like BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP, you'll find yourself right at home in this dynamic setting.
