Job Description:

Join a busy Medical Surgical unit in Columbus, Georgia, as a registered nurse on a 12-hour day shift. This engaging role involves caring for adolescents to geriatric patients, managing IV drips like heparin or argatroban, and monitoring chest tubes, drains, and wounds. You'll work with advanced equipment such as vein finders, wound Vacs, and telemetry tools, often working independently on dressing changes while having access to wound care staff for support. The unit accommodates a census of around 24 patients with a staff-to-patient ratio of 1:6, utilizing Epic and Pyxis systems.
