Job Description:

This Emergency Department RN position requires a quick thinker with a knack for swift assessments and a steady hand in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for identifying patient needs through thorough assessments, planning appropriate interventions, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. A foundational dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week, which must be successfully passed to continue working in this role. The job involves triaging patients promptly and accurately, ensuring that each individual receives the appropriate care in critical moments. While there is no regular call schedule, you may be called upon to respond during low census periods, with an expectation to arrive on-site within one hour. Cerner EMR experience is a must, and your expertise will help keep the emergency department running smoothly and safely.
