Job Description:

Join a high-energy Labor and Delivery unit in Seattle, where you'll be supporting complex deliveries with a focus on high-risk cases. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with a schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday coverage. As a Baby Nurse, you'll be the primary caregiver during deliveries, providing critical newborn assessments, eye and thigh care, and administering medications like Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate. The unit's fast pace requires experience in high acuity, high volume environments, and the ability to float to Mother/Baby units when needed. This opportunity offers a chance to be part of a dedicated team managing around 500-600 deliveries monthly, with a strong emphasis on electronic fetal monitoring and adherence to AWHONN guidelines.
