Job Description:

Step into a versatile MedSurg RN role where you'll be caring for a diverse patient population with a wide array of diagnoses, including chronic illnesses like COPD and Diabetes, neurological conditions such as stroke and traumatic brain injuries, and infectious diseases like pneumonia and sepsis. You'll perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with inter-professional teams while using equipment such as IV pumps, wound vacs, feeding tubes, and telemetry monitors. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to navigate many procedures, including colonoscopies, thoracentesis, and minor surgeries, in a hospital setting that values your skills and adaptability. The position requires a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a Level 1 or tertiary care hospital and at least one year in a similar-sized facility. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts, including three weekends every four weeks, with the chance to float within medical units based on staffing needs. This is a dynamic role for a competent RN ready to make a meaningful impact in a busy hospital environment.
