Job Description:

Join a renowned Level 1 Trauma Center in Libertyville, IL, as a respiratory therapist, where you'll work 12-hour night shifts with a focused team providing critical care to patients across the lifespan—from neonates to geriatrics. This assignment offers the opportunity to manage complex ventilator support, perform proning techniques, and conduct ABG draws, all within a fast-paced environment that emphasizes technical skill and clinical expertise. Your hands-on work with ECMO, trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, and spontaneous breathing trials will ensure you stay engaged with advanced respiratory therapies. Expect full-time commitment with a weekly schedule of approximately 36 hours over a 9-week contract, supporting a diverse patient population that challenges your critical thinking and procedural skills. Charcoal gray scrubs are preferred, and free parking is available on-site. Experience EPIC electronic charting and ventilator management tools such as PB840, Servo-U, and Hamilton will help you excel in this pivotal role.
