Job Description:

This CVOR Registered Nurse contract offers a chance to work in a fast-paced cardiac surgical setting within a well-respected hospital. The role involves scrub and circulate duties for a variety of cardiovascular procedures, including complex surgeries at a Level I Trauma center. You will have the opportunity to float to the general OR and perform solo as well as team-based tasks, all while highlighting your expertise in cardiac cases. The shift runs four days a week for 10 hours each day, with on-call responsibilities that include holidays and weekends. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience, possess current PA licensure, and hold BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience in charge nurse roles and Level I Trauma procedures is preferred. Scrub and circulate skills are mandatory, and familiarity with Cerner Surginet is preferred. Scrubs are provided, allowing you to focus solely on delivering high-quality care and maintaining surgical excellence in a dynamic environment.
