Job Description:

This position involves performing various cardiac ultrasound modalities, including transthoracic echocardiograms, stress tests, and assisting with transesophageal procedures. You'll be responsible for preparing preliminary interpretation reports, managing billing procedures, transmitting studies, and covering satellite sites. The role demands advanced knowledge of pediatric echocardiography and a higher level of skill, performance, and competency. Expect to conduct exams in line with lab standards while ensuring timely responses to emergent cases. Your work will support accurate reporting, billing, and daily operations, all within a professional environment that emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and age-appropriate patient care. Engagement in staff meetings, research, quality assurance, and mentorship of students and new technicians will be part of your routine. Following hospital policies, departmental procedures, and cost-control standards is essential, and occasional travel to other locations may be required.
